About Hangar 400
Hangar 400 is a UK-based specialist retailer focused on scale aviation models and related products.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Hangar 400 website and, once online purchasing becomes available, purchases made through the website.
Hangar 400 is currently preparing for launch. Certain provisions relating to orders, payments, delivery and returns will apply once online purchasing becomes available.
Business identification and registered-address information will be added before commercial trading begins where legally required.
Using Our Website
You may use this website for lawful personal purposes.
You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software, or use its content in a way that infringes our rights or the rights of another person.
We may update, suspend or change parts of the website from time to time.
Products
Hangar 400 intends to offer scale aviation models and related collector products.
We aim to present product descriptions, specifications, scales and imagery as accurately as reasonably possible.
Product photographs and screen displays may not always reproduce colours, finishes or small details exactly.
Packaging, specifications and manufacturer details may occasionally change without notice.
Availability
All products will be subject to availability.
Displaying a product on the website does not necessarily guarantee that it is available for immediate dispatch.
Limited releases, pre-orders and highly sought-after models may have restricted availability.
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend products before an order has been accepted.
Prices
Prices will be displayed in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.
We will take reasonable care to ensure prices are accurate.
If an obvious pricing or description error occurs, we may contact the customer before accepting or fulfilling the affected order.
Any applicable delivery charges will be displayed during the checkout process before an order is submitted.
Orders
Once online ordering becomes available, placing an order will constitute an offer to purchase the selected products.
Receipt of an automated order acknowledgement will not necessarily mean that an order has been accepted.
A binding contract will be formed when Hangar 400 confirms acceptance of the order or dispatches the relevant goods, depending on the checkout and fulfilment process implemented at launch.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, fraud is suspected or a material pricing error has occurred.
Payment
Available payment methods will be shown during checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order is fulfilled.
Hangar 400 will not directly store full payment-card information where payments are processed by an authorised third-party payment provider.
Pre-orders
Certain products may be offered for pre-order before they are available for dispatch.
Estimated release and delivery dates are estimates and may change due to circumstances outside Hangar 400's control, including manufacturer or distributor delays.
The applicable payment, cancellation and refund arrangements for a pre-order will be clearly communicated on the relevant product page or during checkout.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Delivery
Available delivery destinations, delivery methods, charges and estimated timescales will be shown on the website or during checkout.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.
Any specific provisions relating to international delivery, customs charges or import taxes will be displayed before international ordering is enabled.
Cancellations and Returns
Where applicable, consumers purchasing online may have statutory rights to cancel certain contracts and return goods.
Before online sales launch, Hangar 400 will publish a dedicated Returns & Refunds Policy explaining the applicable cancellation process, return period, return conditions, exclusions and refund arrangements.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to restrict rights provided to consumers under applicable UK law.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Products
If an item arrives damaged, is faulty or is materially different from what was ordered, customers should contact Hangar 400 as soon as reasonably possible.
We may request photographs or other reasonable information to help us assess damage or identify the issue.
Any remedy offered will be subject to the customer's statutory rights.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Hangar 400 name, branding, website design, original written content and other original material published on this website belong to Hangar 400 or are used with appropriate permission.
Third-party aircraft names, airline names, manufacturer names, liveries, trademarks and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance on this website does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation unless expressly stated.
Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and functioning correctly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
To the extent permitted by law, Hangar 400 will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when a contract was formed or for losses arising from misuse of the website.
Nothing in these Terms affects statutory consumer rights.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will be published on this page together with its most recent update date.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
